Your first paragraph had me in tears, suddenly, as I thought of all the things I also didn't publish during those dark days. And the rest of your beautiful post had me thinking of the wonderful Baltimore people who stitched, glued, and stapled my boys back together over the years... We also didn't have any breaks, until Yeshiva Bochur (ironically) was playing football on Erev Shabbat, and broke his ankle. Even Stunt Man fell 30 feet from a tree without breaking anything! Another Shabbat adventure... Ah, my holy young men. But the main thing: it's all about the community, isn't it? We were, we are, so very blessed.
